This week is Homeopathy Awareness Week (14th-21st June) and as today I have just been to seen my wonderful homeopath Carolyn Warren I thought I would write about what homeopathy first aid I use for the children and myself.
I use Hypercal cream for cuts, grazes, bites and stings as well as really dry itchy skin, hypericum helps with the pain and calendula is great to help the skin to heal. Apply to clean cuts and grazes.
Arnica cream for bruises and soft tissue injuries.
Tea tree cream is antispetic and anti-fungal so is great for my athelete’s foot, when it flares up.
You can get homeopathic creams from most health food shops and chemists, Nelsons is a widely available brand, however I tend to get my creams from Helios as if you buy 5 or more you get 40% off which is quite a saving. I also like the Helios creams as they use natural ingredients and do not contain lanolin, artificial preservatives or petroleum derivatives.

I also use homepathic tablets to treat common illnesses in me and the kids. I have a great kit again from Helios, which has 36 remedies and a useful basic guide to the remedies. So for example for those of us who occasionally over indulge in alcohol or rich food then a dose of Nux vomica can help with a hang over, whilst a dose of Arsenicum helps sort out the children and me if we have a sickness bug. Sepia is good for me when I get my angry PMT head on and pulsatilla for when I have my single parent nobody loves me head on.

If you live in Lincolnshire I can highly recommend registered homeopath Carolyn Warren at Shining Potential. Carolyn is also a fully qualified EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) therapist.

This is not a sponsored post, the businesses mentioned are people I have used and found to be very knowledgeable and offer wonderful customer care.
